For the first year New Day provides the teacher’s housing. |

Singles: Fully furnished same sex shared apartment |

100 rmb per month for electricity will be added to the teacher’s
monthly salary |

Singles: Each teacher has a private bedroom |
| e.
Couples: If both teachers are either full-time or salaried part-time
teachers the school |
| will
pay 100 rmb per teacher per month
for electricity. |
| f.
A telephone will be provided in the apartment. The teacher is
responsible for all monthly |
| bills,
included basic fees, taxes, long
distance and Internet fees. |
| B.
For subsequent years, teachers may choose to live in housing
provided by New Day or arrange |
|
their own housing. |
| a.
Housing provided by New Day will be the same as above. |
| b.
A monthly housing allowance will be paid to teachers wanting
to arrange their own housing. |

The housing allowance will be paid for each full-time or salaried
part-time teacher in the |

The teacher is responsible for all set up and furnishing of
apartment. |

The teacher is responsible for all negotiations and costs associated
with the purchase of |

| Transportation: |
| A.
The teacher(s) will be picked up and taken to the airport once
per school year at the expense |
| of
the school. Additional trips
to the airport are the sole responsibility of the teacher. |
| B.
Each full-time or salaried part-time teacher will receive 300
rmb per month for transportation |
| into
Beijing. This will be added to
the teacher’s salary each month and can be used at the teacher’s
discretion. |
| C.
The school will provide transportation to and from all school
events and activities held at |
| locations
other than the New Day Learning
Center campus. |

Documentation:
|
|
A. The school will
pay for all expenses related to the teacher’s VISA for entry
into China and
|
|
for residence
and work permits.
|
|
B. The teacher is
responsible to turn over all required paperwork related to
their VISA, residence
|
|
& work permits.
The teacher will be responsible for fines levied as a result
of paperwork not
|
|
being turned in
on time.
|
|
Yearly Bonus
|
|
A. Each full-time
or salaried part-time teacher will be given a bonus of 8,000
rmb each year.
|
|
This bonus can
be used for an airplane ticket or at the teacher’s discretion.
|
|
B. For new teachers,
half of this bonus will be given upon arrival to Beijing to
help the teacher
|
|
with moving costs.
The second half of the bonus will be given at the end of the
school year.
|
|
C. For returning
teachers the bonus will be given at the end of the school
year.
|
|
Returning Teacher
Performance Bonus
|
|
A. Returning teachers
will be eligible for an additional bonus based on the teacher’s
performance
|
|
and the school’s
economic prosperity.
|
|
B. This bonus will
be given at the end of the second year and subsequent years
and can be used at
|
|
the teacher’s
discretion.
|
| Insurance |
| A.
All teachers need to obtain international medical insurance
that covers emergency medical |
|
evacuation
expenses. The school cannot
cover the costs associated with an emergency medical |
| evacuation
and the teacher will be solely responsible
for any and all such expenses. |
| B.
The school will provide basic medical insurance for teachers
at local Chinese facilities. |
| C.
Teachers who want access to medical care at foreign clinics
and hospitals will need to be |
| prepared
to cover those expenses either
directly or through international medical insurance. |
