Thank you for your interest. Three years ago
we started an English school called the New Day Learning Center.
It is an intensive English ¡°immersion¡± program. We focus
primarily on three areas: 1. Improving Chinese students¡¯
English communication skills, 2. Introducing students to American
culture & other western cultures, 3. Developing life-giving
relationships.
Many Chinese people have studied English for
many years but they are unable to speak or even understand
spoken English. Our program requires students to study in
an English-only environment where they are required to communicate
in the language. We believe this ¡°immersion method¡± of studying
language is the most beneficial for improving communication
skills. Since our foreigner teachers and students all live
in the same area they have many opportunities to develop lasting
relationships.
We are in need of qualified teachers for the
fall semester. Teachers need to have a heart for people and
need to be willing to serve in China. They need to have at
least a bachelor¡¯s degree and teaching experience is preferred.
Teachers also need to be able to make a commitment of at least
1 year, starting in August. Commitments of more than one year
are also accepted.
The
New Day Learning Center will provide teachers with a monthly
salary, housing and other benefits. The school will also pay
for all costs associated with residence & work permits
and visas for entry into China. For more information on the

New Day also accepts 6-week winter & summer
internships, 18-week fall or spring semester internships and
12-month internships. Internships are not paid and interns
need to cover their own expenses while in China.
